KF is the fruit of the vocation of a family of farmers who believed in innovation as a tool to transform productivity in Brazilian agribusiness. Since 1995, we have been developing agricultural machinery that combines robustness, efficiency, and technology, always focusing on the real needs of rural producers. Our history is marked by constant evolution: from adapting seeders for direct planting to developing our own lines of planters, seeders, and implements that today are benchmarks in performance and reliability.

Moments in our history

A trajectory built with roots in the countryside

1995

A family business emerged in Cândido Godói, in the northwest of Rio Grande do Sul, with patriarch Valdemar Kelm and his sons Alceu Irineu Kelm (in memoriam), Ademir Jair Kelm, and André Daniel Kelm as partners. Its initial activities consisted of lathe, welding, and sandblasting services.
1995

In the beginning, there were many challenges, such as a lack of resources, the company's introduction into a market of already well-known brands, and uncertainties in the Brazilian economy. But the confidence in the company's potential, the persistent work, and the entrepreneurial vision of its partners transformed all these obstacles into opportunities.
1996

Once the initial challenges were overcome, new concepts, ideas, and opportunities emerged. Thus, the first product line under the KF brand was developed, including tilting platforms, fuel tanks, mowers, and tractor canopies.
1997

In the 1990s, Brazilian agriculture was undergoing transformations. It was the shift from conventional planting to no-till farming. This presented a new business opportunity for KF, which developed kits that converted conventional planters into a no-till system. The idea was approved by the consumer market at the time and brought excellent results to the company.
1998

With the machines' good market acceptance, it was decided to manufacture the first planters under the KF brand. Production then began on planters with 3 to 7 rows, all of which were coupled to the tractor's three-point hydraulic lift system.
2002

With the growing demand for products, a new industrial plant was developed, which allowed the company to increase competitiveness and effectively serve the consumer market at the time.
2003

The new 12,000 m² industrial plant, including 2,500 m² of built area, was inaugurated. With the new factory, the company was able to increase production capacity and product quality, further improve the work environment, and build a team of qualified professionals to better serve customers.
2004

Even with the economic crisis in the country, which also affected the agribusiness sector, the company sought to overcome the situation by launching new products, further diversifying its line and expanding its area of operation towards new markets.
2005

One of the highlights of this period was the launch of TG Pantográfica, which launched KF into key agricultural regions. The company emerged even stronger from this period, expanding and strengthening its brand throughout much of Brazil.
2007

It was one of the most difficult years for the company. Not because of the economic impact, but because of the tragic loss of a person dear to everyone, the company's then-founding partner, Mr. Alceu Irineu Kelm. Alceu was a fierce entrepreneur who never gave up on his dreams; he also had a pure heart, always seeking the best for all.
2007

Despite the loss, KF remained true to the goals set by the family from the beginning. Brothers and partners Ademir and André, along with their wives Iracema and Elenir, respectively, joined forces, along with the team of employees, to move forward and continue the business, even stronger.
2009

This year, seeking to improve quality and streamline the production process, the company again invested in its manufacturing facilities, including new machinery and infrastructure. A training center was also opened in honor of its beloved brother, Alceu Irineu Kelm (in memory). Always with the well-being of its employees in mind, the company invested in a spacious cafeteria. The total built area reaches over 5,000 m².
2012

In addition to exports to Mercosur, KF stands out at a national level, winning important awards such as the Destaque Gaúcho Empresarial, the ‘‘Júlio Redecker Development Medal’’ awarded by the Commission for National Integration, Regional Development and the Amazon (CINDRA), and the Gerdau Melhores da Terra Award, a technological innovation award.
2012

To standardize and improve production processes and final product quality, Industrial KF sought and obtained ISO 9001:2008 certification, demonstrating the efficiency of our product manufacturing processes. In 2018, the company successfully upgraded to ISO 9001:2015.
2013

This year, the company took another major step forward in its growth. It invested in the purchase of land that, together with its current footprint, totals over 50,000 m², including 15,000 m² of built-up area.
2013

The company inaugurated the new industrial complex, in addition to investing in machinery and equipment for processing raw materials. In light of these achievements, an inauguration event was held in October, which was attended by over 6,000 people.
2018

Industrial KF is once again increasing its production capacity for machinery and equipment, expanding its built area from 15,000 m² to 17,250 m² to meet increased demand and better organize the factory's outdoor area. With the expansion, we installed new machinery and also created much larger areas for assembly, parts storage, warehouses, and finished products.

The expansion increased production capacity, improved work quality and employee performance, and enhanced ergonomics in processes across all sectors of the factory.

KF products are born from direct field experiences, with information gathered from producers, and prototype testing in fields, resulting in easy-to-operate, highly efficient agricultural machines and implements.

KF's ever-expanding product mix includes planters, seeders, corn harvesting platforms, bulk trailers, fertilizer spreaders, corn platform transporters, and hydraulic sprayers. This growth is sustained by the close collaboration between management, employees, suppliers, dealers, and, above all, our FARMER PARTNERS, who deserve our utmost respect and recognition, as they are the ones who bring food to our tables every day.

Industrial KF actively participates in trade shows throughout Brazil, aiming to be closer to its customers, showcasing new products targeted at small and large properties. With several dealerships throughout the country and a strong sales team focused on the domestic market and exports to several Latin American countries, KF also operates a dedicated sales team.
2022

The company is celebrating its 27th anniversary! With the goal of providing producers with quality and solutions for the field, Industrial KF has built a trajectory of evolution in the agricultural sector throughout its history.
2023

In August, the first semester of the Mechanical Engineering Program began in partnership with Unijuí Campus Santa Rosa. This first class of 21 students, all KF employees, will attend classes at the company itself throughout the five-year program. The KF Academy is another significant initiative to strengthen the education of employees and the entire region!

The factory is undergoing an exciting expansion to meet growing demand and offer even more efficient products. With modern, expanded facilities equipped with advanced technologies, we can streamline manufacturing processes, improve product quality, and ensure faster delivery times. We are proud to offer an improved infrastructure that sets us apart in the market.

At Expodireto Cotrijal 2024, KF introduced Generalle CC to the market, a milestone in innovation and trust. A launch that reflects our commitment to excellence and to the rural producers who make the countryside thrive.
